Trip Overview
Do you ever feel curious about what lies in the much-talked-about Everest region? Yes, we know you have heard of the mighty mountains, glistening rivers, and the alpine forests. The vibrant settings of the cultural villages and the tightly-knit communes of Sherpas add to the Everest experience. Our Short Everest Trek that runs for seven days is prepared for travelers who want to explore the Khumbu region but have fewer days to travel. A trip designed explicitly for the travelers who have problems acclimatizing but want to visit the area once in their lifetime. The Short Everest trek takes you to the Everest region and covers much of your Everest experience. The tour that begins in Lukla takes you across dense green forests and beautiful panoramic settings in an ideal, less strainful trek.
One of the major highlights of the Short Everest Trek is our acclimatization in the vibrant Namche Bazaar. We hike up to the Everest View Hotels and witness many neighboring Mount Everest peaks. To name a few, in this journey, you will see the range that covers Mr. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, accompanied by Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Thamserku, et cetera. You will be hiking up to the hotel located at the highest altitude in the world; The Everest View Hotel. Our journey of the trek continues as we visit the local settlements of Khumjung/Khunde. To observe the valley’s fine arts and culture, we make a short trip to the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo gallery. We then travel further to trekking up to the Dudh Kosi River and catch a flight to Lukla as we plan our return to Kathmandu.
Overall, this is a relaxed, less tiring journey and aims to give the travelers some of the major highlights of the province. For instance, some trekkers will want to dig into the area but are not keen on exhausting themselves. If you are one of those people who want to tap into the beauty of the Everest region minus the hassles of the base camp, then the Short Everest Trek might be the answer. We descend to the beautiful rivers and enter the iconic Sagarmatha National Park via Monjo. Our trip to villages like Monjo and Jorsale is another exciting part of the outing. Hence, we think this tour might serve you in natural bio-diversity, proper relaxation, beautiful mountain views, the residing arts, and culture. But most importantly, even without the hike to base camp, it will not deprive you of the true Everest essence!
The trip is for people with instilled adventure spirits and requires little physical training. Our Short Everest Trek is one of the more accessible options of the Everest Region Trek; while you are on this trek, you do not have to worry about the altitude sickness that comes with the journey of an Everest Base Camp Trek.
